App of the Center of Studies and Documentation of the International Brigades

The general function of the Center for Studies and Documentation of the International Brigades (CEDOBI) is to encourage the memory of the brigadistas and to increase the scientific knowledge of the International Brigades and the last Spanish civil war.

The retrieval of documentary sources and the conduct of oral video interviews with members of the International Brigades, their families and those who had any relationship with them.
To facilitate the consultation of the archives obtaining the reproduction of documentation that is in the possession of individuals or dispersed in different archives and documentation centers.
Promoting research through doctoral courses, conducting seminars and conducting doctoral theses.
The programming of congresses, courses and conferences.
Dissemination of what the International Brigades were in the context of the Spanish Civil War through the collection "The Light of the Memory" that will make publications on this subject, through the Publications Service of the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
The knowledge of what the International Brigades were in the context of Contemporary History and more specifically within the Spanish Civil War, among the students of the different levels of high school since this has been a page of our history long hidden and manipulated.
The establishment of cultural and scientific links with organizations dedicated to the study, dissemination and recovery of the memory of the International Brigades of different countries.
